Seeing the Eiffel Tower in the day time was a great, but I must say the night before we escaped from our room and saw it and it was absolutely beautiful. At the beginning of every hour the Eiffel Tower would light up into sparkling lights which made our date night even more romantic. We didn’t bring a blanket to sit on and gaze at the tower, so we walked and got gelato and sat on the pier on the La Seine. It was perfect!
The next day, I wore this long maxi dress that was pretty much a bad idea because my thick thighs didn’t like the hot weather and walking. It was extremely hot and of course there was not really any shade besides the tower itself. I think the only thing I was missing from this outfit was a floppy shade hat! It was so hot!
If you go in the summer, I recommend you wear shorts and loose and flowy top with sneakers. Make sure you have a bottle of water with you and a hat to protect your skin from the sun. And don’t forget your sunglasses!
This was our final day there, and although it was a beautiful day, we were rushing to get to the airport. Can you believe that all the taxis in Paris were on strike because of Uber? I mean.. of all the days we were there, we never had a problem with getting a taxi. We literally had to make our way to learn the train system to get to the airport on time.
It was quite the adventure I must say. I enjoyed every good and bad thing that happened and I’ll be visiting again in a couple of years!

I love what you wear to visit Eiffel Tower
So comfy and chic

Thanks Zarrah!
That dress seems so comfy! Even if you guys were running to the airport. Great tips when traveling especially having a bottle of water on hand! More trip photos please 🙂
