4 Fall Basics You Need In Your Closet

Fall is on its way! It’s time to get your closet prepared for the colder months! I’m predicting that these top four closet essentials will be major style options for everyone’s closet.

 Over-the-Knee Boots

Yes. Everyone will be wearing these boots as soon as the weather changes. Over-the-knee flat boots, heel boots, and wedges will be everywhere sooner than you know it. I love these that I actually snagged from Target. I’m on the hunt for a flat pair soon.

Khaki Trench Coat

This oversized khaki trench literally neutralizes any outfit to Fall. See how the bright colors are suddenly dimmed by the statement of the trench? It works every time. Make sure you have one of these in your closet to balance your fall wardrobe.

Black Skinny Jeans

The ultimate skinny “look real skinny” jeans every woman needs. If you are not into leather, this is the perfect option to switch with your dark denim jeans. Add more variety with black skinny jeans that you can wear all winter!

Military Jacket

Ultimately, this is probably my favorite. Although some people instantly think a military jacket would go with a more casual style, I amped it up by optimizing my LBD and wearing it over a gingham style shirt. I even wore it over a LWD for the summer. Make sure you get this transition piece in your closet.
