While on my vacation trip to New Orleans for Essence Fest, I attended the Dr. Miracle’s “Your Prescription Lounge: Hair, Mind, Body and Soul” event hosted by Naturally Happy Hair. During this event, Dr. Miracle’s showcased their new curly girl products and offered good food, good drinks, and networking at The Bellocq Lounge at The Hotel Modern on St. Charles Avenue. Their Healthy Hair experts gave free consultations and styling to all of the attendees who made an appointment which was a treat for all the hair lovers. We were serenaded by the lovely Honey LaRochelle as we enjoyed caricature artists draw some of the guests.
I had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful ladies while there including, Aven Dugas (Guinness Book of World Record’s Biggest Afro), Honey LaRochelle (songstress), and Chimere Norris and Crystal Knight (Founder’s of Naturally Nappy Hair)!
