The new year is almost here! I really can’t believe it came so fast. I literally just remember thinking January was the longest month ever. The summer and this holiday season seemed to go by so fast.

As I see posts from my friends and family about their reflection of this past year, I reflect on mine not knowing really the outcome. This year hard but it wasn’t as bad as other years. I do know one thing. I’ve been so thankful for being able to see my daughter’s more throughout the day and experience watching her grow into a toddler.

Instead of listing out accomplishments and challenges, I’ll list events that happened this year that impacted my 2018.
- Sweet T started preschool. We had a small rough patch at the beginning, but she quickly started to enjoy it!
- I almost gave up blogging but decided to keep going. I’m so glad I did. Taking that long break after having Sweet T made me feel lost. I love writing here and I plan to continue!
- I saw a therapist consistently for 8 months. Best decision I ever made.
- An old friend of mine decided she didn’t want to be friends with me anymore. I was shocked at first but then realized she was never a real friend. (That always happens, right?)
- I paid off my car! I was determined to get that debt out of the way.
- I quit my job. I wasn’t completely happy and I felt the role I was in did not highlight my skills.
- I got clear on the type of businesses I wanted to create. I gained clients and lost some. But I’m still here and plan to crush it in 2019.
- I went on some fun road trips! Destin, Gulfport, and New Orleans were so much fun!
- Sweet T had an epic 2nd Birthday Party. I’ve already figured out her theme for next year.
- I was very creative this year. I got to do a lot of DIY projects! I have a lot of my DIY projects on my Instagram Highlights.
- I cooked a lot this year. My husband is really the chef between us. I really don’t like to cook, but I found it satisfying to create a meal for my family 3 times a week. I actually enjoyed it.
- I finished my first e-mail course! I will be launching it very soon!
- I plan to launch my online store in Feb 2019! I’m so excited yall!

This year has been good. I’ve learned to accept the things I cannot change and had the courage to change the things I could. This year was all about my priorities which were my family and my happiness. Next year is all about my dreams!
I want to thank each of you for reading and following along on this journey through my life and motherhood. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
