Hey guys! As you can see, I’ve been loving the decor lately for this Halloween. I’m going to be totally honest with you though.

If we were not in a pandemic, I probably wouldn’t be this creative. Actually, I probably wouldn’t have TIME to be this creative. But I am loving every minute of coming up with ideas and executing them. Especially because having a toddler at home needing to be entertained.
So let’s get to the details of the essentials you need to dress your bar cart for Halloween:

Dust and Clean
The first thing you need to do is dust and clean. Don’t be like me and neglect your bar cart. My bar cart was literally in a corner catching dust since our kitchen renovations.
Make sure to dust and clean all of the glasses and canister’s you plan to use. The canister’s that I didn’t use, I put them above my refrigerator for later use.

Make the Top
Make sure to decorate the top of the bar first. This is what most people look at first and it should be functional and possible to serve drinks. Functionality should include being able to pick up a glass and move it to a place for preparation, picking up the alcohol and mixer, grabbing a straw and/or napkin if desired.

I got the Boo mason jars, Halloween colored straws, trick or treat napkins and craft bottle are from Target. The skeleton drinking glasses are from Dollar Tree. I positioned it in the corner of the cart to allow opportunity to make a drink.
Remember to add your sign or banner with a Halloween theme. I was contemplating the words on my sign to say a few things. Here are some other Halloween quotes:
- Pick Your Posion
- Where’s the Boooos?
- It’s Drink-oween
- Trick or Drink
- Happy Hallo-wine
- Let’s get Pumpkin Smashed
- Drink up witches!
- Raise Your Spirits!
Be Creative on Bottom of Bar Cart

For the bottom of the bar cart, it’s important to have extra alcohol and cups with adding a spooky piece to keep with the theme.
I got this small and flexible spider from none other than Target. It was the perfect size for the cart and didn’t take up the entire shelf.

I added some pumpkin tea lights and an extra jar for straws and spider web inspired shot cups. I also added a black boa and some ghost lights to add a bit more fun. And of course, adding spooky pumpkins never hurt!
Here’s a better view of the finished look for the Halloween Bar Cart.

I’m already thinking of cool ways to dress my bar cart for Christmas! I’m thinking of doing a fun bar cart for Santa when he comes down the chimney. We shall see soon! 🙂
