Hey guys! I’ve officially made 7 months as an entrepreneur consulting! It’s been a whirlwind of emotions and lessons that have made this so much fun! I’ve learned (and confirmed) so much about myself and have come to terms with living my life this way is what’s best for me — especially now that I’m a mother.

There are plenty of lessons in this journey, but I’d like to share a part of the beginning stages that have come up time and time again — fighting fear.

When you look at your self in the mirror, it’s important that you truly believe you can do what you are setting out to do. You have to UNDENIABLY know that you are capable of accomplishing every goal you desire. Imposter syndrome was real in these streets! But I quickly learned that I’m truly an expert and I’ve done the work to become one.

I had a hard time saying “no” at the very beginning. There has to be an equal amount of “yes'” and “nos” to be confident and satisfied with the work you want to do.

Being a Jill of all Trades can be overwhelming, but what I’ve learned is that boundaries are key. Setting expectations ahead of time and voicing those expectations are important at the very beginning.

It takes a confident and sure person to know where you stand. Whether it’s with money, time, and the work being done. You have to fight that fear!

My 2019 goal is to do everything I’ve been scared to do. If you’d like to follow along on my journey, be sure to sign up for my email newsletter and also follow me on Instagram or Facebook. I’m going to be showing the good and the bad of this and need your encouragement to help me push through!
