Can I just say that, when I got the email that I’d be going to UniverSoul Circus I was hype! I was hype because, number one, I haven’t been to the circus in YEARS. I can’t even remember the last time I went to the circus. Then, yes then, I thought about Sweet T (oops!) experiencing the bright lights, animals and the entertainment. I was hoping she would love it because it’s always hit or miss with new things with her. We try to act excited for those new things so she can be excited! lol I guess that’s my form of parenting! [insert crying laughing emoji here]
She had a blast! At first, I thought it was going to be a bit loud for her as she gets nervous around loud noises. But she reallllly enjoyed it. If you follow me on Instagram [click here to follow] and watch my InstaStories, you saw her intrigued at the performances. She just took it all in.
Since it was the 25th Anniversary of UniverSoul Circus, it was a special event. Not only were we entertained with the performances, but they also recognized local heros in our community. It was a great tribute to Trae the Truth and his efforts in helping residents get shelter during Hurricane Harvey.
It was an honor to experience the family friendly live entertainment from the UniverSoul Circus. UniverSoul is a highly interactive combination of circus arts,theater, and music that spans genres including Pop, Classic R&B, Latin, Hip Hop, Jazz and Gospel. We enjoyed ourselves and we plan to attend next year!
